Basic Info
Name:Juliet [Sloth]
Birthdate:10-28
Bio
Background: It was over thirty years ago that she'd been playing at the playground with her sister when the blond haired man had asked her to come with him. He hadn't seen her twin on the other side of the slide, and being the one that he took notice of she felt important and favored. It wasn't often that a Blond spoke to someone in her lowly class, especially not a child, so that he was being so kind to her, she was quick to trust him - never expecting what was to follow.

Juliet was brought to the man's van, a dark and scary vehicle with no windows - so it was only natural that she tried to back away as quickly as possible. The little girl wasn't fast enough though, quickly thrown into the back of the truck and brought to what looked like an abandoned warehouse. There, the child was brought to an empty room and left to cry until she exhausted herself.

The next morning she was branded with the oroboros - the serpent eating it's own tail - and her chestnut hair was dyed black to make her blend in better with the slaves already there, passing for a child of Lower Class instead of the Middle Class she was born to. She was then introduced to the others held captive there as well, her 'new family' as Master called them. Time passed and Sloth forgot her parents, she forgot her sister, but in all the time she spent sobbing her name alone in that dark room, she could never forget that.

She became unable to determine which had been her true name, Juliet or Trisha, and so she appointed one name to each side of her personality. Trisha reminded her of happiness and warmth, and so it became the name that she identified with in the company of the other slaves, her family, as she began to know them as. Juliet reminded her of cold, darkness and the damp truck and cells that she'd been kept in when she was first captured, and that was the persona she found herself revealing to the captors - they could not hurt a girl as cold as the stone she was surrounded by. Trisha was the chestnut haired girl of happier times, and Juliet was the dark haired slave who was used and abused.

Together they were Sloth, in this new world that she was forced to live in.

Sloth adjusted to this new life after awhile, able to close off from the abuse of her captors and accept that this was simply the way things were.

When the roster was full, babies born to the slaves were sold for a profit, but when there was an opening they were simply removed from their mother and treated as an orphan, just like the rest of the slaves kept there. Since they benefited from the new births, pregnancies were encouraged.

Sloth’s first pregnancy came too soon, and because of that she was unable to carry successful pregnancies from then on. Only two ever reached full term, and both fair haired boys were stillborn, leaving the woman sympathetic and clingy to children around her, and heartbroken in the presence of those with light hair.

It was only natural for her - during an unexpected break out - to turn back at the sound of a young boy calling out for his mother. Finding the room his screams were coming from, Sloth scooped up the small boy as he clung to her and once again fled the warehouse.

The found shelter in the slums and called each other by their newly acquired sin names, knowing it would reveal their true identity to others of the same origin without giving themselves away to others - and not wanting to lose the family tie they’d had in the community of sorts, living with the other slaves.

For years, Sloth was the mother Wrath needed, and Wrath was the son Sloth had lost years before. Until Izumi found her son once again, the two were inseparable. Knowing that she would never be the boy’s true mother, Sloth did not protest Wrath returning to his birth family - having lost children before, it certainly wasn’t something she was unaccustomed to.

She was surprised to find Wrath on her doorstep not long after, continuing to call her Mommy despite having found his real mother. However, Sloth knew better than to look a gift horse in the mouth, and welcomed the boy back into her home whenever he could find where she was staying at the time. Wrath wandered from one home to the other and neither mother could bring themselves to keep him from the other.

To this day Sloth still hasn’t met the woman who birthed her son, but that just makes it easier for her to keep up the illusion that he was one of her own lost children, instead of somebody else’s.

Sloth has no intention of returning to the Middle Class, even if she could. She’s content to live with her makeshift family and years of having her hair dyed black has left it irreparably darker than the natural color she was born with - she was now, and forever, one of them.

Personality: Sloth is a very calculating and analytical character, precise in everything she does. She is the epitome of her name, although responsible and accurate when needing to get a job done, if she can find someone else to do it for her, she will - but, if someone else messes a task up, she makes sure things are done -right-, even if she has to do them herself. She's a quiet soft spoken woman, who depicts very little emotion in her words or expressions and favors short clipped tones to much in the way of nurturing or lengthy conversation.
